I couldn't stop reading. He takes you on a roller coaster ride that you just don't know where it will turn next. Thought provoking, funny, tragic. There isn't a feeling that he missed in this collection. I look forward to more of his works, and would love to see some of these short stories turned into Novels. Also, his life is a novel in itself. Would love to hear more from this man's life, he has been through it all!Product details

The electic style of this book is not the kind of book that I usually read. But I found it fascinating. The different stories and poems were, by turns, intriguing, humorous, engrossing and thought-provoking.The stories had a greater depth and intensity then I am used to reading and I found I liked that. Some stories left me pensive while others left me deeply moved and in tears. Some left me feeling like understanding was just out of my reach. Most of the stories left me wanting more. At the end of each story and poem, I often had to put the book aside, to ponder for a while what I had just read, before continuing on to the next story. Two stories were chapters out of two upcoming books. Both left me looking forward to the books' release.

Many different kinds of stories to take me away for awhile. Fun to read, easy to understand, makes me think. Also entertaining.

On reflection, this is a wonderfully well written journal of one's life experiences. The poetic symposium Bobbi produces is lovely.
Wow, a fantastic read! Full of dark humor, gritty self-revalation, raw sexuality, stories of failures and triumphs, witty and creative, laughter, tears, this is excerpts of Robert's comically tragic life in writing. If you are a reader of any sorts, this is a well-spent $5 for this superbly crafted and wonderfully written collection.
Fierce and poignant, this collection of both autobiographical essays and fictional short stories from Robert Sandy is a recommended read. From the youthful account of "Steamy Windows" to the star in "Supernova", Robert is able to captive the readers attention across numerous genres and self revelatory pieces.
I was also quite interested in the excerpts from his forthcoming novel, " The Ankara Messiah", and await eagerly it's release!
Bottom line buy this book, it's worth both your time and money!
